“Whiffletree Manor House is A beautifully preserved, but still updated house. Our out-of-town guests couldn’t get over how nice it was, both the overnight guests and the ones who came to a baby shower we had there. Not only is the house lovely but so are the grounds, there’s even a swing hanging from one of the trees to make it look that much more picturesque. We would definitely rent this house again for when we have people visiting. ”

“Cute farmhouse has a wonderful pool and hot tub! It’s on the outskirts of Luray, so plan on driving a bit to see the sights but it’s nice and quiet. There’s lots of levels to spread out in the house. Owner was very responsive and helpful with local suggestions of things to do and places to go. We enjoyed Skyline Drive in Shenandoah State Park that was about an hour from the house. ”

“We had about 21 extended family members staying in the large farmhouse. The property was gorgeous! There was plenty of room and beds to accommodate. The game room was huge and well-stocked with games/books/tv/pool table/ping pong table and foosball. The week we were there was very hot, but the air conditioning worked well. The outdoor pool was refreshing and came stocked with toys/floaties. Wally stopped by and gave us a tour of the property including the pond for fishing. Wally and Patricia……

“Very relaxing stay in a period style farm house. The homeowner’s art is displayed throughout his house and took us a few minutes to acclimate to his style but was very comfortable during our stay. ”

“We loved the house! The kitchen was well appointed and easy to cook in. There was privacy for each couple but also great places to be together as a group. The property was beautiful with places to hike and roam. A very comfortable and relaxing place to stay!”

“Properly beautiful. House dirty. Catering kitchen fithy. Mold growing in freezer. Lots of things do not work in house, some a/c, tv in master. False advertising. I rented as shown for 10 people. They changed to 7 and did not inform me. Told host on 1st correspondence we were having Celebration of Life and nothing was said about an additional fee. After reservation confirmation and serveral days later I was told I had to pay additional fee for Celebration of Life. We loved this property……
