「Got to the place in the evening due to catching up with friends, greeted by the staff warmly, felt at ease as soon as we got there, sign in was easy and quick, and one of the staff was brilliant even offered to take our bag to our room. The room was gorgeous, nice and spacious with a TV, tea and coffee, and bottles of water. Bath and shower was great. The beds were comfortable and there was extra pillows and a blanket, which we used.」

「They need to explain that they are a dry site. There is no alcohol allowed on site. Not that I’m a big drinker, but I do like a drink while watching football. The TVs are not linked to the WiFi so there is no way to use some of the Smart Tv functions. This is company policy. 「Great location and room was excellent and very comfortable BUT no staff on site until 8.30am so struggled to get early check out Breakfast doesn’t start until 8.30 This was probably shown somewhere but I wasn’t aware 」

「Very friendly place, very busy in bar area but accommodation separate (& quiet 😊👍)… enjoyed looking round the bar area after breakfast next day, lots of interesting items/photos etc and nice to be away from the ‘corporate’ feel that most hotels seem to have these days. I’m sure we’ll be back.」

「The property was on the seafront overlooking the beach, Southend Pier, and the amusements. All of the food outlets were either on the seafront or within 20 minutes walk east or west along the parade or north going towards Sainsburys. Lovely place which i hope to visit again.」
