The hotel was centrally located but in an area of Huddersfield town centre regeneration so at the moment the area round about is very quiet & run down with a lot of boarded up shops. Few places to eat nearby.
The hotel is beautifully decorated with comfy beds. Our room had a high window we were unable to see out of & unable to open but we were provided with an electric fan (no air-con).
The mirror in the bathroom was too high for me (5’3’’). No plug socket was near a mirror for hair drying, straightening etc. (one socket unusable due to huge, but beautiful bedhead).
We were fortunate to get a good car parking space & that was a real bonus!
The staff on reception were excellent, very pleasant, friendly & extremely helpful, can’t praise them enough.
Would book again, preferably in another room.
