Hotel was okay but the bed and pillows were not to my liking and the windows let in too much noise. I would advise asking for a room facing the rear. The restaurant next door, Da Sandro, was exceptional though.

Overall, this hotel stay was underwhelming
During our recent stay at the hotel, I was initially hopeful for a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of our expectations. The room itself was adequate but not particularly impressive. While it was clean, the furnishings were basic, and the amenities were minimal, which didn’t reflect the price I had paid. The breakfast was by far the most disappointing aspect of our stay. The selection was extremely limited, with only a few basic options that didn't seem freshly prepared. The eggs were rubbery, the toast stale, the bacon tough and hard and the coffee tasted weak. This lack of attention to the dining experience was frustrating, especially when breakfast is supposed to be a highlight of a hotel stay.

Worth it for the restaurant
I would, and will stay here again for the restaurant which is excellent. The hotel is ok. It is basic and functional, wifi is useless and sporadic. The breakfast is pretty good and staff are lovely.

Room for improvement
The hotel and rooms looked very different to the advert. The room was dated and had old carpets.. Towels were old and discoloured, we had to request for fluffy white towels. A bath tub is a no! no in this day and age.. I think it’s under some renovation because the 1st room had a stand alone shower, then we were moved as the key system jammed.. that 1st room was better with slight new carpets too. We were served cold hot chocolate and coffee beverages from the bar- very weird. Checkout reception staff was so unbelievably unfriendly, that attitude needs to change otherwise your business reputation will be tainted.
