Booked a deluxe double room stayed in room 43 on the ground floor, the room was a little tired and needed a lick of paint to refresh it. The room was small but had the basics, desk, two chairs, fridge, tea, coffee and milk. The TV was mounted quite high on the wall making viewing uncomfortable for longer periods. The bed is up against a wall with a window above you have to climb on the bed to open close blinds and curtains or squeeze around the end of the bed and stretch over. The accessible bathroom equipment was eroded, the paint was peeling on it and it was loose and wobbly. This equipment was not used. Cleanliness could have be improved round the edges of the carpet and along base/skirting boards. Deep clean of the interior radiator required. The grout in the bathrrom was just beginning to show signs of black mould. Unfortunately, the shower head does not stay in the grip. The water pressure is lovely and powerful. Acessible bathroom would benefit from a wall mounted pull down seat or a small shower stool. The breakfast enough to keep you going cereal, yoghurt, fruit etc., All staff and the owner who happened to be at the property were really lovely, courteous and very accomodating. Any issues raised were dealt with swiftly and they could not have been nicer. The staff are this motels strength. There is limited parking at the front of the property but the turnover of guests means you can usually park there. Longer stay parking is at the rear of the property.
