Definitely need a car though. Really good food at the pub and convenient to have a little store right next door. ”

“Hare lodge has everything and more. Karen has provided everything you could possibly need. The lodge was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We were amused by the number of hares around! Beds were extremely comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. We thought Hare lodge was very good value for money. The only thing we didn’t like much was the layout. Having to go out into the conservatory to get to the en suite bedroom wasn’t great, and in winter would be chilly, but we enjoyed our stay……

“This was not what we expected. The description said there was a bathroom - there wasn’t. It said there were three rooms it was only two the heating was inadequate. There was no instructions for cooker which was set too low. ”

“Great tent for family. Much more comfortable for sleeping than in a standard tent. Communal areas good do with a spruce. ”

“Overall the property was clean,moden and had everything needed for our stay.However,the pull out bed was not v user friendly and uncomfortable which was disappointing!I think the lodge was catered more for 6 people particularly the sofa area,not enough seats.There was also a issue with the back door as in it was stiff to open.We enjoyed our stay and loved relaxing in the hot tub,many thanks”

“Great stay but not entirely suitable for a wheelchair. Had to remove the rims from my chair and two small steps inside were a bit annoying but nevertheless we will be back. Booking agent fee was excessive adding almost £100 to the cost”

“The accommodation and location are 5-star. The hosts, Kathy and Alan, are unique and very helpful. We have stayed at this location several times in recent years and cannot fault anything. It's very much a home-from-home when we travel there—highly recommended.”

“Beautifully clean , excelently equipped, beds very comfortable, nice welcome tray and milk in the fridge very thoughtful.. Our arrival was delayed because of a road traffic accident and sadly I didn't have telephone contact details for our host so I couldn't let her know but she was very inderstanding when we arrived.”
