“Place was amazing very secluded but close enough to get into town and do things. Our longest drive to go do something was only nine minutes away. Everything was as promised. The only issue we had was the back door entry. The hot tub is right there and when we were standing outside watching nature, we saw bees and wasps going underneath the hot tub. so because we were both chickens, we never went into the hot tub. “We enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful cottage on a very nice pond. We enjoyed kayaking, eating our meals on the deck overlooking the water, and enjoying a fire every night. It also was only a couple hours away from Fort Ticonderoga, so we enjoyed going there one day. ”

“Do not stay here! I am an international traveler, backpacker, and am used to some rough accommodations, but this stay was truly awful. My friend and I booked the space for a weekend, despite reading the previous reviews, thinking it could not be that bad. The house was overwhelmingly musty, there was mold up into the windowsills, the carpeting felt damp to walk on, and least of all the beds were hard and uncomfortable. We left after one night. It felt like a health hazard to be there. Neither……

“The owners were amazing. Easy to deal with and they checked up with me daily to see how things were going. They are in the process of updating every room of this rental. “We have 2 dogs who travel with us. So renting pet friendly homes is a much better option than a hotel room. The house was clean, comfortable, and the fenced in yard was great for our dogs. Nice big bath towels (my favorite) and a nicely stocked kitchen made staying at this house very enjoyable. An added bonus were two sets of dog-loving neighbors who came out to greet us and say hello to our pups. Thanks Julie for providing a welcoming place to stay for our weekend getaway.”
