Kaimana Beach Hotel is a nice property in on the edge of Waikiki with friendly and welcoming staff — special thanks to Alyssa, Anna, and Josiah for making the experience feel warm and hospitable.
However, for the price point, I felt the amenities fell short. There was no gym on-site, and we were informed that microwaves couldn't be delivered to rooms. When we requested an additional lounge chair, we were told none were available. We asked for a knife to cut some fruits purchased from a farm, we told that they are unable to provide one. The $50 daily valet parking fee also felt excessive, especially given the limited added value.
While the staff was consistently polite and helpful, the surrounding area can be extremely noisy, which affected the overall sense of relaxation. Additionally, the restaurant lacked inclusive options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free guests, which was disappointing.
Overall, while the hospitality was excellent, the lack of amenities and limited dining options made the experience less than ideal for the cost.
