This is one of my favorite spots to vacation. The hotel is uniquely located--off of Waikiki, but an easy walk away. Kaimana Beach is a beautiful spot: full of local swimmers, kayakers, paddle boarders, canoers, and surfers. We spent hours on our balcony, at dawn and dusk, enjoying the action. Our room on the third floor had a panoramic view of the ocean, the park, and Waikiki Beach off in the distance. The room was comfortable and breezy.
Aside from the location and the facility itself, whose lobby, lounge and lanai (the Hau Tree Restaurant) are open and inviting, the staff deserves accolades. In the week that we stayed at the hotel, the front desk, servers, house cleaners, hosts and hostesses, etc. made us feel truly welcome and comfortably at home. The staff here embody the aloha spirit, and we feel blessed to have enjoyed their company during our stay.
The Kaimana Beach Hotel is a unique place--and one that we hope to enjoy well into the future.
