“Had a one week work assignment in this area and brought my wife with me. She suggested looking at vrbo instead of the usual motel. This place fit the bill!! It’s a completely furnished house in a small neighborhood in the country. Hot tub on back porch was wonderful. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Great communication with owner. Highly recommend.”

“I very impressed but I will honest when we first pulled it looks very rustic but once inside it was very clean and the bed omg it was like sleeping on a cloud, we loved how we could freely walk the property and we really enjoyed the farm animals which are all very tamed even the chickens lol this place to rent especially if you have kids that go to Emory and Henry College we stayed graduation weekend my mind was at ease because we did not have to deal with any traffic”

“My wife and I are considering moving to SW Virginia and have spent increasingly more time there. We loved the location of the Blue House as well as the house itself. Tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, open and spacious. Abbey and Ron have done a fantastic job on the house and are gracious hosts. Check in and check out were simpler than any hotel. It made for a perfect launch pad for us to hike several times in the area as well as ride the Creeper Trail. A block off the main street, quiet but……

“I'm in Abingdon frequently for work, infrequently with my spouse. We spent our 33rd wedding anniversary here- had supper out, antiqued, saw a play at the Barter and biked the VCT a couple times. This location was perfect to park our car and stroll Abingdon all weekend. The studio was clean, well-organized and nicely decorated. My husband has just planned two more trips planned after staying at this wonderfully, centrally located studio. ”
