Nestling in picturesque countryside on the North Cornwall and Devon border, Well Farm Holiday Cottages offer a tranquil base for family or friends looking to enjoy the many attractions this beautiful area has to offer. Set in the heart of the Tamar Valley, visitors can stroll down to the river which borders the farm, to enjoy a picnic or fly fish for trout, take the opportunity to meet the pet kunekune pigs or the chickens and check for eggs, or explore outstanding countryside through the numerous walks and trails.
There are ample opportunities close by for surfing, fishing, golf and walking, with fields for walking your dogs nearby. PV solar panels in a nearby field contribute to an eco-friendly stay. Surrounded by farmland and within easy walking distance to the upper reaches of the historic Bude Canal, these lovely properties offer a quiet rural retreat for your Cornish holiday.
Trewin Court (ref UK11878) and Millers Rest (ref UK11877) provide spacious accommodation with the added benefits of a private garden and a large communal area with play equipment. The interiors are tastefully furnished, and the sofa in Millers Rest converts to a double bed, ideal for flexible sleeping arrangements.
Cider Cottage (ref UK11861) boasts a front hallway leading into a spacious living space with open fire and electric coal effect fireplace. The room has a dual aspect with views from the rear across fields to the village church.
Well Farm Cottage (ref UK11879) retains much of its original character and has two bedrooms and a cosy living/dining room with a character fireplace, a beamed ceiling and a well-equipped, galley-style kitchen.
Well Farmhouse (ref UK11880) is ideally suited to families and is the largest of the five cottages set in an attractive courtyard setting. There are three bedrooms and a charming living room with an open fireplace.
Rivendell Glamping Pod (ref UK11881) is unique in design and provides the opportunity to enjoy glamping in style. Set just behind the main farmhouse, this cedar-clad cylindrical ’Hobbit-style’ pod offers living accommodation in one pod, with washing facilities in another. The main living pod has a 4ft double bed nestled between two 2ft singles, which can be converted to sofas, and if the weather is inclement you will be warm and cosy with a flatscreen TV and DVD player to keep you entertained. Beach 10½ miles. Shop 3 miles, pub 1½ mile, restaurant 6¼ miles.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 32 guests.
