“It was a long walk to the ice machine. Motel was undergoing some renovations. Staff were pleasant.”

“The place was very pretty and quiet. Clean cabin. Not much room for trailer parking if bringing an ATV/UTV and with having to unlock gate we were partiality in the road with our trailer while unlocking gate. Hot tub was nice. Close to Hatfield which as fuel, food and great access to the trails.”

“Beautiful location right on the Black river with fairly easy canoe access (steep but short hill to maneuver the canoe up and down but steps right down to the water). The listing says one bedroom, but it is large and with two queen beds. Owner is really responsive and helpful as well!”

We enjoyed the variety of wildlife sightings throughout our stay and hanging out by the campfire each night. I was grateful for the quick response to a few questions we had for the host.”

“This was our second year staying at this location of Joe and Don's. The home is beautiful, with everything you need. We had 4 trailers and UTV's, very spacious yard for parking, and trail access. We would highly recommend this property.”
