“Our stay at the Ruby Cottage was amazing!! The view and the seclusion alone was worth it! We enjoyed every bit of it from all the selections of games, fishing, and kayaking. The owner had thought of everything possible that may be needed or forgotten. Plus it’s all labeled!!! This is by far our favorite stay yet n already planning for next years stay!! Thank you!”

“We greatly enjoyed our stay at this Checotah lake house. It has been updated throughout and the decorations are very cute. The lake is just a short walk away, but it's not good for swimming, maybe fishing if you bring poles. The lawn is well-maintained which made for a great space to run around and explore. There is plenty of space to spread out throughout the house and enjoy time as a family. There are a few toys for kids.”

“The property was a short walk to a sandy beach. The swimming area was a great area for families with small children, as the water was shallow with no sudden drop offs. We swam, kayaked, and the kids loved playing in the sand. The house was very cute and clean. Check in was easy and we had plenty of room. The backyard patio and fire pit provided a beautiful view of the sunset over the lake.”

“Lovely overnight stay. Google maps couldn’t quite locate so called the owner and he responded very quickly.”

“Extremely quiet cabin worked well for me while I was in the area. Know that you will drive down 2 miles of unpaved gravel road to reach the property entrance from the highway. Not a big deal, but did catch me by surprise. The light bedding & flat pillows could use a bit of an upgrade.”

“Im not sure if what i expected based on the photos was lived up to. The photos do not give an accurate representation to what we received. We have stayed at alot of places and this one did not live up to what i paid for it. The house was dirty i couldnt tell u the last time it was dusted. It smelled of old moth balls. When we pulled up there was a small shed with dark tinted windows and an window ac unit going in the font yard! It was about 40-50 yards from the front door! The house was covered……

“We really enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful area. There were only a couple of minor things that we would have preferred been different. 1) no water pressure in kitchen sink; 2) the double-size mattress has seen better days; 3) the sustain peddle on the piano doesn't work. I was thrilled when I saw that there was a piano, but it wasn't in working condition; 4) it would be nice if the front porch steps had a hand rail. But overall, very pleasant stay.”
