“The location was ideal for what we wanted to do. The views were incredible”

“Beautiful view. Hard to overstate how gorgeous it is. Host provides a lot of helpful mod-cons that we didn't expect. Only major issue is ticks! If you bring a pet, do not let it stray from stone driveways and make sure it's up to date on preventive meds. Our (always leashed) dog must have brushed some high grass on walking trails on property and had more ticks on her than I have ever seen at once. ”

“Pet friendly weekend get away. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard. This cottage was perfect. It was close to restauraunts, wineries, and breweries. Some hiking trails within 30 minutes that our dog loved as well. Such as the Finger Lakes National Forest. It had all items for cooking a meal at home too. Cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay. ”

“This was our second stay here and will definitely return. The rooms are so quaint and charming not to mention spotless. Love the old magazines and books in the room. Nice deck with a view of the lake. There are only a few rooms here, maybe 9 or 10. ”

“Amazing trip! Can't say enough about how great we were treated by the staff! Our room was beautiful, clean, comfortable and spacious. This is a very unique property and has to be seen to truly be appreciated. Make a point to stop in for a drink at their cozy bar! You will not be disappointed. ”

The blanket is very smelly

"The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn."
