“My wife and I frequent the Texas Hill Country and look for quiet cabins in remote areas. This one was perfect for us. The cabin is well maintained, clean, and lacking in nothing. The location was remote, quiet, and literally on the river. It is hard to access the water because of the steep river bank. There is a large rope provided to stabilize your climb down and back up. Not a problem for us able-bodied old folks. Kids would love it. We found our stay to quite enjoyable and look……

“We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is cozy, roomy for us two and the area quiet! Even with a few neighbors, we were far enough apart to still feel secluded. A few suggestions, if you had a small, narrow chest of drawers for holding clothes would be handy, right under the A/C unit. The bed was cozy but too soft in the middle, we were rolling into each other. Maybe a thin plywood support under the mattress may help. Loved, LOVED the washer/dryer; we came home with clean clothes, so nice after……

The bed was comfortable, the pictures were accurate, the hot tub was clean, we saw deer each morning, communication was good. There's a property close by but you still felt secluded because you're surrounded by trees. It was exactly the relaxing getaway that we were looking for!”

The Ruby Cabin is a beautiful cozy cabin on one of the tallest hills in the Wimberley area that overlooks as far as you can see and a full length porch to take it all in! Inside was beautifully detailed repurposed barn wood that takes you back into past the more that you look at it. We loved being there and look forward to our return! ”
