“My overnight stay was absolutely wonderful! Clean room with nice bathroom and comfortable bed and good hot breakfast in the morning. Plus I traveled with my dog and she got a welcome gift! So sweet. Very recommend!”

“We had a very comfortable stay at Franklin Terrace bed and breakfast! Paul is the sweetest person and he takes best care of his customers. It is centrally located and easy walk to Main Street. It’s nice to know that it’s recognized as national historic place. The structure is originally erected in 1887!! If there’s something to complain, the bed is too soft for our convenience and one of the staff Kelly can be little bit more friendly.”

“We experienced a medical issue and had to end our trip early. We attempted multiple times to cancel our reservation, but every call to the hotel was extremely difficult. The staff members we reached could barely communicate in English, and several times they simply hung up on us. On one call, we were told “the manager is not here.” On another, we were told we had to “go online to cancel,” which was not possible for our situation. At no point were we able to speak with anyone who could actually……

“Clean, nice room. Property was well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and did not use any amenities.”

“Check in was challenging. We requested a quiet room and we arrived to the room closest to a busy road. Our shower drain was clogged, so I showered in dirty water. The internet was intermittent the entire two days. The area is not pedestrian friendly. The hotel is right by the intersection of two busy highways. It’s noisy. I would not stay there again. Also they were still working on the building we were in. The two upper rooms were done but the bottom was not. We heard construction noise until……

“This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ……

“I absolutely loved this property! I didn’t want to leave!! Location was perfect. Bull frogs, birds even the light rain was relaxing. We stayed in the Mountain Laurel Yurt and it was amazing. Clean, upgraded, very luxurious! We had two elk wander in to drink from the pond and they were so beautiful! I highly recommend this property and can’t wait to return!”
