“I arrived after a rather heart-stopping journey through Storm Darragh. And as I was checking in the power went off. There were a few refugees from the storm and staff who couldn't get home after their shift. The kitchen was in darkness and powerless so no food available but the bar did stay open! The staff were cheerful and helpful finding a duvet to wrap up a chilly lady. True community spirit at it's best!”

“Very warm, friendly welcome (The snow machine at the entrance was a nice seasonal touch). All the staff were polite, attentive and helpful. The restaurant food was excellent. It all made our anniversary stay special.
The building has been beautifully decorated and quality furnished in keeping with its history.
