The room was freezing.
I booked a king smoking room around 2. I then called called to see if a king smoking handicap accessible room due to my disability. I was told that there were no handicap rooms were available due to renovations. Ok. I then explained that i could not walk and my friend would walk in to get us checked in. I was once again told that i would.have come inside to check in myself. Ok. I had already paid foŕ the room and decided to stay anyway. Wè arrived atound 8 pm. I was loaded in my wheelchair an̈d pushed to front desk. I was greeted and things changed. I was then told a handicap room was indeed available. Great. We had room 103. It was freezing as it had been vacant for quite a while. Due to Multiple Sclerosis, i have an intolerance to cold/heat. My fŕiend used the handheld haìr dryer to warm my feet. The room was far from accessible. My wheelchair could not fit through the walkway to bathroom. These things had to be moved for accessibility. My wheelchair continued to scrape refrigerator. I always seek out Quality Inn while traveling. This was the worst experience thus far. Better judgment should have been used when giving me a room. Nobody should be given a freezing room in 32 degree weather especially a person with a disability. I would have paid for another room with good heat that was not handicap if i wasnt so worn out. This stay was unacceptable. How can you have no accessible rooms. I am very confused about the situation
