Pine River Cabin is a rustic ranch log home on the river. Catch and release FLY FISHING ONLY WITH BARBLESS HOOKS for safety and fish survival. Enjoy the sport of fishing. Two bedrooms, one king and a queen with the en suite bathroom with a tub. The guest bathroom has a walk in shower. Both bedrooms have TV's. Each bedroom on each side of the home. A third space with 2 bunk beds for children. Adults would not be comfortable in this room, no closet or TV. Living area in the middle of the home with a sofa, recliner and glider rocker. The fully furnished kitchen and dinning room are towards the front of the home at the front door entrance. Since the kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher, we provide dish soap and trash bags. Front loader stackable washer and dryer available. Trash pickup service comes with the home . Camera on outside of home looking over river and driveway for safety. Enjoys a wood burning fireplace inside and fore bowl outside. Several rocking chairs are around on the balcony to enjoy the beauty of the wooded area and the river front views.

Christmas Vacation Getaway
This house / cabin was absolutely perfect! We absolutely loved it. It was the perfect setting for our family Christmas getaway. It was very clean and exceptionally comfortable and very cozy. The back porch over looking the river was our favorite place - even on rainy days. Karen was incredibly helpful with anything that we needed. We will definitely stay here again. Most Relaxing Girls Trip
We wanted to go visit Helen Georgia. We stayed at this cute cabin. It was nicely furnished and it was in a quiet area. We didn’t want to leave it was so relaxing. If you are looking for a quiet get away this cabin is a definite charmer. We have decided to make this an annual trip.

Creekside bliss
The property was perfect for two families to stay with some privacy. My cousin and her husband stayed in master and had their own private bathroom. Had all you needed to make at meal or to warm up leftovers. The porch overlooking the creek was very relaxing. We felt very safe, even after my cousins had to leave early Neighborhood was very quiet and close to hiawassee. Would definitely stay again.

River cabin in a quiet neighborhood
Beautiful older model cabin home in a very quiet elevated river neighborhood. Communicating with the property manager by text (per instructions) went without reply, but once we called, check-in was easy. Property was clean and bed was extremely comfortable. River was gorgeous and the sound was peaceful. Only issue besides the initial communication was the bathrooms were uncomfortable. Small, odd walk-in shower and small toilets. There are also a step up at the ftont and back door that does not have any lights. An older person might have a problem with that. These small issues were not worthy of deducting a star. Overall a Five star property that id stay in again.

Charming property accurately pictured
The property was as described. One minor access glitch handled promptly. River at the time of our stay (Oct) was more like a crystal clear brook. Not a property issue but personal issue. Master bed as pictured is 32" high. At 4'10", I was able to access bed with a 2-step ladder that had the lower step at 8". Likewise, the rise at the back porch door is 9", so I used a 6" folding step to make entry & exit easier. This probably would not be an issue for most people. Would definitely recommend this property.

Nice home, large, nicely furnished, loveeee the wraparound porch and rockers. We didn’t realize it was actually in a neighborhood, but wasn’t an issue.Very quiet and comfortable. We attended concerts at fairgrounds and was conveniently located

Sweet getaway
Great stay. Messy weather. Went fishing with older brother (we're both aging) easy to get to. As with all rivers watch your step. We both caught fish after a learning curve. Huge porch. Washer and dryer a nice plus. Great stay!

Home away from home
This home was warm and cozy. It was very clean. Perfect for our family with the big yard kids could play and then cool off in the river. To town was adorable and had some great places to shop and eat. Also not far from Helen. Definitely will stay here again.

Great time
We have a great stay. The house has everything you need. The children enjoyed the stream, a perfect place to spend with the family. The town is 15 minutes away where you can get fresh food and artisan things from the area. I will definitely come back if I have the chance

Mountain Trip
We are from Florida and our friends are from Ohio. So the North Georgia mountains are a half way meeting point. We chose this cabin due to its riverfront setting and proximity to Helen and many waterfall hiking trails. The cabin was clean and had the basic necessities. The covered back porch overlooking the river and furnished with comfy rocking chairs was our favorite spot to gather. If you are looking for high end furnishings and upscale bath and kitchen, this is not your cabin. But if you’re looking for comfortable, clean furnishings with a serene, peaceful outdoor environment for a fair price in a great location, I recommend this cabin.

Nice Location
Convenient to Hiawassee and right on the river, which was nice. Home is dark, outdated and could use some TLC. The beds are hard and I definitely recommend bringing your own pillows. Phone connectivity is spotty in the area as noted in directions (GPS may not get you all the way to the home), yet checkin must be completed by phone call or text when you arrive. It took 20+ minutes (Verizon) to get a call through to get the key code and get in. This process needs improving, and is the first place I've stayed in years that you can't get what you need to get in until you're standing at the front door.

Memorial Day 2023
Great cabin very chill and in nature with the river behind it. We all caught trout and carp, had a fire every night. Beautiful wrap around porch, great neighborhood. We went to Brasstown Bald around the corner we had lots of fun. My little dog enjoyed the nature.
