“We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Authentic vintage experience! Off course, if your are looking for a neet and sophisticate lodding, it might not be the place for you… but it was perfect for us! Very well located, near a private beach with 2 kayaks and chairs for our convinience. Also very near to the action of Boothbay Harbor that was a nice discorery! The cabin is very confortable, with everything we needed to prepare a nice meal and relax at anytime of the day. The only thing that……

“My best friend and I hadn't seen one another in over two years. I had heard so many wonderful comments about Lola's since I live in Boothbay. We decided to stay at Lola's to get away from all distractions, catch up, relax and chill. It was a real girl's "retreat house". Everything we needed to be comfortable and pampered was in the lodge. Shopping and restaurants were just minutes away.”

“Betty's Place is a simple, no frills stay with a million dollar view. The accommodations are basic but very clean and you can prepare a full meal in the kitchen. Well sited on gorgeous Orrs, Island there are many things to do a short drive from here but enjoying morning coffee on the private deck or star gazing over the water at night are really the highlights of this old school home. A rocky access to the water's edge was a little hard for two seniors to navigate but younger guests should have……

The one time we emailed, we got no response. There were also dirty towels left hung up behind one of the bedroom doors when we arrived.”

“Quiet, cottage location on a peninsular with easy accessibility (7mins by car, 40 mins walking) to Boothbay Harbor town and surrounding region. Communication with the owners was particularly good and very personable. ”

“Place was clean when we arrived. Cabin and lot location was very quite and locate where you couldn't see neighbors from the back deck. Very relaxing weekend. I would stay here again. View of the water was amazing.”

“It is a cute cabin but needs some serious maintenance. The entry slope would be improved by stepping stones along the very appropriate gravel path. It is a steep path and the stones can be slippery and awkward. The inside front door would benefit from a "wipe-your-feet" mat. The microwave, dishwasher and stove are nicely upgraded although we only used the microwave as we were just 2 and mostly ate out. There are 2 good heaters, one up and one down but they do not have fans so they do not heat……

“Loved the setting and the fresh pine scent indoors and out. The turkeys foraging in the early morning were a pleasant surprise. The expansive deck was perfect for nighttime stargazing. Only drawbacks were no microwave or outdoor grill and could not get TV to work.”
