“This property is a 5 Star gem. A best kept secret and an incredible bargain for the amenities it offers. The hotel is situated on the Ocean front of Florence Oregon and every room has a view of the water. Access is easy to the beach and very walkable. The rooms have complete full kitchens and dining areas, even a dishwasher, dishes and cookware. Our room was immaculate, absolutely the cleanest place I have been in a long time. “The location right on the beach with every room having ocean view is unbeatable. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was great. The bathroom could have been a bit more clean but it wasn't too bad. Bring slippers when you stay there, no carpet except by the balcony sliding doors which is great considering potential sand teack8ng into the rooms. If you have neighbors upstairs, you'll hear them and smell their cooking. Overall, I would stay here again.”

“We're pretty easy to please. The place was nice and fairly comfortable. The location was excellent. The only small inconveniences were the lack of drapes; there were blinds but an outside light kept the room from being completely dark. We had a little trouble with the deadbolt so didn't use it. “Staff was friendly. Room was clean which is top priority to me. Curtains were a little disheveled and could use a little help but so do mine at home. As I mentioned cleanliness and a kind staff are the most important things to me when looking for a stay. They offered extended hours if you needed for a good price. We didn’t need it on this stay but this would definitely be a plus in certain circumstances. Definitely a user friendly place.”

“When both me and my partner looked this place up there was a photo that showed the beach within walking distance, and it also said there was a beach within a3 min walk. That's untrue unless you count here tiny piece of land called "whale park" as a beach {which google does} The access to the beach was there stair you have to drive too across the bridge, if u look out from the rental room u an see it from there. as a Disabled person i was looking forward to be within walking distance of the beach……

“Great stay after a rouge river trip We floated the rouge river 4 days prior to our stay at the fortress. The lovely and dog friendly home and yard had everything we needed.
