“We booked the treehouse for our 40th anniversary to just lay back and relax. From drinking coffee on the deck in the morning to exploring the surrounding area. Watching the turtles, fish jumping and the birds was entertaining and relaxing. We are both in our 80's and had no trouble with access to the house. We loved the experience.”

“We stayed for 2 days. Brought steaks and other goodies to grill. We enjoyed the view from the deck. We refilled the hummingbird feeder and enjoyed the many visitors. We've never heard a hummingbird chirp! It was a nice quiet getaway to reset and recharge. We'll be back next time we want a quiet getaway.”

“We had plenty of room for 9 friends (adults and children) to enjoy a weekend at Holiday World. There was plenty of space to sleep, hang out and have meals together. It was a short, easy trip to and from Holiday World. We've already decided we want to make it a yearly tradition and another friend is ready to book again for a different group of people. We don't have enough good things to say about this place!”

“Pros: beautiful/private wooded area, very friendly locals, great winery within walking distance, lots of hiking trails to pick from, cabin has massive potential to be A stay Cons: front door has a hole in it, back door doesn’t lock, hot tub has broken jets and doesn’t really get hotter than bathtub, needs a a new cleaning crew. Coming into the cabin with beads, chips, dead bugs on floor was not ideal”

“We had a very short visit at this property but would have been happy staying much longer. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking all types of meals, there was a full size washer & dryer and the beds were comfy. Great little touches, like board games and a selection of DVDs and an outdoor fire pit (bring your own wood) with seating and an outdoor grill. Nice yard for the kids to run around, play catch, etc. Even though it was on a main road, it was very quiet.”

“We had a guys weekend away that included grilling out, playing games, and hanging out. There were a large group of us and the house fit our needs perfectly while giving us an atmosphere that we could relax in and enjoy the natural beauty of Rough River. Mitch was an excellent hose and super easy to work with. My whole group and I would highly recommend!”

“We have family in Owensboro, and sometimes we need a little extra space when we visit from Bowling Green. This adorable house is in the perfect location and gives us the extra space needed for “spillover”…so much better than staying at a hotel. “We enjoyed everything about this house. Wit was a 35-40 minute drive to Holiday World, which was exactly what we wanted. Plenty of space to spread out. Lots of toys for toddlers, which was very appreciated! Very clean. Great decor and neighborhood. The host was responsive. We loved staying here!”
