“Stayed for a hunting trip, place was great, location great as well”

“We booked the cottage last minute on our way to the east coast after our previously booked lodging cancelled. The owner was quick to respond and the property worked perfect for our needs. It was a nice place to relax for the evening and get some sleep before we got back on the road. The kennel was also great for the dogs after a long day in the car! We did note there is one panel shorter than the rest right along the dog house structure. We were only there for one night and didn't look around……

We were able to bring our dog which was such a relief as he’s part of the family and it’s always hard to find someone to watch him over the holidays. The location was perfect for us very close to Moraine St park so Leopold had beautiful wide open spaces to hike/run. It was also close to Cranberry/Seven Fields where most of my PA family live so spending time with them was easy & a blessing. A couple minor observations- The house is……

“If you want peace and quiet with nobody around, then this is the place for you. The facilities in the house are great, but the grounds are great, too. Both the front and the back offer privacy, with a fire ring out back. It is a very short drive to Lake Wilhelm, making this property a nice base of operations if you are into flat water kayaking, fishing, etc. ”

“My husband was in an accident right before we were supposed to stay here. I sent a message to the hosts just let them know we wouldn’t be there for our stay and the host was SO kind about it. The host offered us to reschedule our stay. We were so shocked and grateful because we were so excited to stay at this beautiful spot but were way past the cancellation period. I will always support kind and giving people and will absolutely be booking here again in the future. Thank you guys so much!”
