“Everything about this stay was wonderful. I cannot praise the staff enough. Very friendly and attentive to our needs. Our room could not have been any cleaner or stocked with what we needed. Captains lounge was a huge plus! Views were spectacular. I would highly recommend this location for someone to stay and we will definitely plan to stay here again.”
“Raffles is a great hotel with exceptional service. We had everything we needed and the staff was there for anything we asked. We totally enjoyed staying there and will do so next time we are in Boston. ”
“Brilliant apartment that is like new and has a great view of the state house and common. Communication was excellent.
The downside is the area. I hadn’t realised just how bad things had become around the park street T on tremor - it’s a sea of drug dealing, mental illness, homelessness, and police activity. That is a big downer for an otherwise brilliant property.”
“One of my all time favorite hotels. Quiet. Feels exclusive. Large rooms. Convenient location. Honestly I’m not sure I want others to know what a treasure this place is! ”
“A great place to stay while in Boston, the hotel itself offers free breakfast which includes full breakfast and delicious meals in their French style restaurant, a lovely lobby to hangout and all day coffee/hot tea which becomes a great plus for the winter time in Boston. The front desk staff is all very friendly and helpful. The parking on site is 30 USD per night with in/out which is a wonderful deal comparing with other hotels in town charge you 50-60 USD per night. The room itself is very……
“The room wasn't big like the picture was shown, however it was extremely comfort. The bed was awesome. The price was a bit too high for such a small room.”
“The location of the hotel is very good. There are all kinds of supporting facilities around. I especially like the park opposite. It has a beautiful environment and is very suitable for walking in the morning and evening. room service is also very good and the daily housekeeping service is very timely. Although there is no coffee machine in the room, the coffee service provided by the professional coffee shop from 6:30 in the morning allows us to taste higher quality coffee, which is great !”
“From the moment we pulled in, we were greeted by a friendly staff who took care of the car, bags and easy check-in. Totally renovated hotel in a great location. Rooms are super clean with great amenities. The restaurant and bar are located on the lower level with access to outdoor seating. I will not even think about staying anywhere else in the future and would highly recommend. ”
"I and my husband came for the 128 Boston Marathon. My unit was in 41 St. Stephen Street. The location is very convenient with Symphony Station just round the corner. A short walk to Hynes Convention Centre and Marathon finish line. Whole Food Market is just 3 minutes walk and there are many nice restaurants around. Though in an old building, the unit appears recently renovated with marble kitchen table top, a big fridge, microwave, toaster and electric stove which is very efficient in cooking. The kitchenette is definitely a bonus for us since we can cook a lot of rice for carbo loading. The toilet is not big but enough for its purpose. Overall is very clean. There is no cleaning service in my 4 days stay but can ask for supplies of essentials like tissue paper, garbage bags, coffee, towel or bed sheets if needed.
Please note the stove top is difficult to operate. You can ask the reception for a video which give clear steps to turn on the stove.
The shower is also difficult to adjust the correct temperature, but after a few trials, problem was resolved.
I like the efficient communication through WhatsApp and the response is usually within few minutes during operation hours (9 am - 9 pm). I arrived after 9 pm and I received very clear self checkin instructions.
Overall a very pleasant stay.
