We're a group of guys who grew up together, now in our mid-40s, most with wives and kids, and once a year we go away for a long weekend of eating, drinking, playing poker, and just generally relaxing. And this house was perfect for us - plenty of room to spread out and have our own space, great wraparound deck, and the screened in gazebo came in handy on the one rainy night. And then, the hosts - I had read about the fresh……

Location is about 20-30 minute (beautiful!) drive from several cute Catskill towns and Oneonta, where our son was playing baseball. We truly unplugged in this cozy home. “24 hours prior to check in (4 pm), I messaged the host to ask how we check in. No response. We had no trouble locating the property, but once there, we could not get in. The door was locked. There was no key. There was a lock box, but no code was provided. There is no cell reception at the property. We left to message the host for more info. Eventually, the host responded by sending us the address. but no acknowledgement about how to enter the cabin. We returned to the property again around 9 pm……
