“The house was great and just what we needed our quick birthday weekend celebration. This house is an easy drive from Boston, allowing friends to do a day trip. They met us at the house for a visit before we did an escape room and dinner in downtown Portsmouth. Due to the weather we opted to drive and park, but this would have been an easy walk.While we didn’t utilize the upstairs bedrooms they were nice. One thing to note the stairs were narrow and steep and our dog didn’t like to navigate……

“The weather outside was frightful. But our stay inside was cozy and wonderful. What a great place to sit and watch the weather roll through and the tide come and go. We also made several walks down the road to the stone beach. And Kittery was conveniently close letting us pop in to Lil's every morning for coffee and breakfast. Everything was just how the listing and photos describe it. Loved our winter stay. We would definitely enjoy seeing what the summer season is like.”

“We spent a long weekend at the seaside retreat and even though it was January we had some mild temps and were able to take some nice walks with our dog on the beach. The house was immaculate when we arrived, maybe the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in! The bathrooms are huge and the bedrooms were just right. “This is a nice summer stay. The beach is just across the road (a busy road). It has everything you need. However, as an off season it is not so great. There’s a very good heat pump so being cold was not the issue, it’s the door. Not sealed well so it rattled with the wind and let in cold air. I sealed it with a newspaper to stop the rattle and cold air. The floor is also somewhat slippery when shoes are wet from rain. I all minor when there during the summer. ”

“Beautiful, cozy stay near the ocean. Beautiful views a short walk away. Because of the weather we didn't get to use much of the outdoor space, but several nice chairs outside. Felt pretty private, separate entrance from rest of house. The grill was a nice touch, but nowhere to sit and eat inside (other than the bed) so we didn't get a chance to cook. Thanks for the lovely stay!”
