“We had an amazing weekend at the cabin. The house is beautiful and so were the views! I loved the layout of the house, because it really allowed for us to socialize and also do our own thing. The only comment we had was that the automated faucet in the kitchen was sometimes hard to use, but we figured it out! I will definitely book again with Mountain Mama Cabins!”

“This mountain house is absolute beauty! It is beyond gorgeous. The view is spectacular, the sunset is breathtaking. You have a 180 degrees view of West VA. The house itself is stunning, plenty of rooms to move around with our group of 15. We enjoyed the jacuzzi while admiring the beautiful sunset. The kids had fun roasting marshmallows while Eagles are flying up above them. Thank you for sharing this Eagle’s Nest home. 😊”

“The inside of the property was clean, but a little more dated than the photos reveal. The outside of the property was not particularly well maintained. All of it was perfectly serviceable, just not as high-end as the photos would lead you to believe. The neighborhood is a mix of some nice places and some really not-nice places. We were right in the thick of everything - so close to the historical areas, trails, food/drink - but we still had all the privacy that comes from being on a smaller street. “If you have kids you'd like to unplug and let bike, fish, or feed farm animals, this is the place! The staff are so kind and friendly. They delivered us fresh eggs our first day! The ponds are stocked so bring rods. Our 9-year-old caught his first largemouth bass all on his own. Also, George Washington stayed in a stone cottage out back. They set up a copy of his writing about it. We highly recommend this hidden gem!”
