Perfect location

This house provided the perfect location for driving the road to Hana and making the trip to the top of Haleakala. We enjoyed pizza at Jaws (walkable), breakfast from Baked on Maui (in Haiku),Aloha 'Aina BBQ (food truck nearby), and the breakfast treats and snacks provided by the host. It was an easy drive from the airport too.

Perfect Countryside Cottage

Palm Cottage was the perfect stay for our family vacation! The cottage was peaceful, clean and very well appointed. The property was lush with fruit trees just as described. Robert and Stephanie were wonderful hosts with excellent communications. Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet, relaxing, and well priced. My family greatly enjoyed our stay. Robert and Stephanie do an excellent job maintaining the property and making guests feel welcome. We loved the location close to the Hana Highway and other Maui attractions such as the upcountry, Haleakala, and the central valley. The cottage was quite spacious and had all the basic kitchen amenities. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property in a nice quiet location away from the crowds. Nice location to get a head start on your drive on the Hana Highway. Peaceful, beautiful property!

This was a great stay for us. Very quiet, peaceful property surrounded by lush vegetation and a view of the ocean. Comfortable seating and beds, and very clean. It was so nice to have a welcome package of coffee beans and snacks! Owners communicated flawlessly and were super helpful when we needed them. Really appreciated having beach equipment available, too. We will be back!

Lovey cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Stephanie's cottage. It was nice to relax, get away from crowds and explore that area of Maui. The cottage is extremely clean, well organized and had lots of kitchen equipment. The book of instructions provided was very detailed.

Amazing hidden gem

What an absolute amazing and private getaway this hidden gem is. Feeling of being right in the middle of the jungle while not being so far out of town that you're spending the whole time driving to get back into town. We loved the privacy, wildlife, views, landscaping and outstanding hospitality this location provided. Couldn't ask for anything better!

GREAT COTTAGE NEAR BEGINNING OF "ROAD TO HANA"

WONDERFUL PROPERTY. VERY CLEAN AND QUIET. WELL-STOCKED WITH KITCHEN EQUIPMENT AND NICE VARIETY OF SNACKS, ETC., INCLUDING COFFEE BEANS AND ALMOND MILK. A/C NOT NEEDED DURING OUR STAY. A SHORT DRIVE TO RESTAURANTS AND GROCERIES. YOU CAN WALK TO "JAWS MARKET" FOR BREAKFAST! DEFINATELY WOULD STAY AGAIN! GREAT WINTER BREAK FOR A COUPLE OF AKRONITES.

Wonderfully comfortable living cottage, with everything you would need! Just bring yourself and some food. Host is "thoughtfully in touch with you" and seems to have thought of everything you would need. Very private. Nearby shops and eateries. Best kept secret.

Cute cottage in a quiet location

It was nice to be in such a quiet location compared to the hustle & bustle of the coast. The floorplan is a nice use of space. Nice grounds with avocado & lots of lemons which we ate all week. The owner was incredibly responsive to a couple of requests we had. Overall fantastic communication and smooth logistics.

Location location location

The perfect house for exploring the windward side of the island. We were grateful for the AC in the bedrooms so we could sleep easily at night after being out and about during the day’s humidity. We loved being right off the Hana highway and the easy access to a drive to Haleakala. Paia just down the road has lovely walkable beaches with visits from turtles in the early morning and afternoon. We also loved Jaws just 2 minutes walk from the house for early morning coffee, lunches and even pizza for dinner. We’d stay here again for sure.

Great Getaway Cottage

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was just what we were looking for. Close enough that we could get to any of the resort areas, but far enough away that we could experience a taste of authentic Hawaii living. There are plenty of restaurant/food options within close driving distance. The cool evening breezes were also a welcome relief at the end of a long day of sightseeing. The cottage had all the amenities we expected and the snacks/continental breakfast were a bonus. We felt well taken care of and would absolutely recommend this property.

Private cottage

After staying in resorts for 13 nights it was nice to stay in this cottage nestled in vegetation on the hillside overlooking the ocean. It was very quiet and we never even saw our hosts although they live on the property. They did respond promptly when we had a problem with a smoke detector. It was especially nice that there were lots of supplies of things you might need and everything was labeled so you didn't have to guess which switch turned on which light etc. I would recommend this cottage highly.

Wonderful & peaceful cottage in Paradise

We stayed at the Palm Cottage for 5 nights in February 2023. It was absolutely perfect, inside & outside. The cottage was very clean and well set up and the beds were very comfortable. Robert was very helpful when we had a question about the TV. There were snacks left for us and also breakfast to get started. The carport was convenient during some heavy downpours. We highly recommend the Palm Cottage for your next stay on Maui. It's just off the Hana Highway if you want to travel to Hana & it's also close to Paia, a great place to eat and shop. Excellent in every way!!
