"This resort, while dated, is a great location for visitors to crested butte. Being able to ski right up to the hotel can’t be beat. The hotel offered a great bar in the lobby where we had breakfast each morning and had plenty of options for our kids for after skiing activities. They also served drinks with ample and comfortable seating for large groups to sit and lounge after they got off the mountain. The hotel room could stand to be cleaned a little more thoroughly. "Great service, location was absolutely perfect. Used the shuttle to go into town and back and it ran smoothly and timely. Beds were comfy but the pillows were not. AC unit was broken throughout the entire hotel while we were there but it wasn’t a big deal luckily as we were visiting in winter. There was some trash left on the side of the mini fridge, but I can see how that might be missed by the service staff. Overall, we would definitely come back, mostly for the unbeatable location. "

"Our group had 3 rooms. What a great place. The breakfasts were delicious. The inn was very comfortable and cozy, perfect for a ski vacation. It’s located basically downtown so everything was close. We took the bus up to the ski mountain… very convenient. We also skied x country which was even more convenient. "

"Priced accordingly, this is a tough place to stay. Poor quality mattresses and linens. Poorly insulated rooms allow for you to hear everything in the bathroom across the hallway along with all of your neighbors. Baseboard heat makes the room go from 50° tov100° and is supplemented by a portable electric space heater. Creaky floors, covered in delaminating, separating Pergo. Evidence of past leaks and rotting window sills--really the list of deficiencies is the only thing impressive here. ...

"Great place to stay just outside downtown Gunnison (less than 2 miles). Front clerk was friendly and professional. Grounds were a little aged but clean and very comfortable. Bed was perfect. Would definitely stay again. "
