Located 1/2 mile from Interstate 24, it's rural yet only 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Built on the side of a mountain, the custom-built cabin features mountain views of Lake Nickajack and its two bridges. The wrap-around porch and outdoor seating will be one of your favorite areas. The cabin is perfectly arranged for privacy and gatherings. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. There are 3 queen beds, 1 kingsize bed, 1 daybed with a pop-up trundle (2 twin beds)in the loft, 1 daybed with a pop-up trundle (2 twin beds)in the lower living area, 3 sofas, a loveseat, a recliner, and rocking chairs, wireless internet, 6 TVs (4 smart and 2 equipped with DRVs), good cell phone reception, one fabulously equipped kitchen, and spacious parking. There's something for everyone, from Pickleball to peace and quiet to the hustle and bustle of the city. It's ideal for those who want to relax and curl up with a good book. You can watch the hummingbirds and bluebirds feeding over the garden and every evening, a gorgeous sunset awaits you. The lower level can be separated from the rest of the Cabin if more privacy is needed. This apartment includes the king size bed, trundle bed, full bath, separate living area and kitchen is located in the lower level.
Pickleball is available on site; contact owner to make a reservation. You must supply your own paddles and balls. Within twenty minutes, you can take advantage of the Chattanooga tourist attractions, such as Rock City, Ruby Falls, Tennessee Aquarium, the Chattanooga Zoo, or the Chattanooga Choo-Choo. The marina is 2 miles away for those who want to fish or boat. The twenty-mile trail system created by TVA and Sorba is only six miles away at Raccoon Mountain for trail runners or mountain bikers. Motorcyclists will love having miles of scenic roads to explore. History buffs will appreciate the Civil War history including the National Cemetery and Missionary Ridge, just 20 miles away. It's a great place for families to disperse and gather again for meals, games, and fireside chats.
