“The cabin and property grounds were beautiful. The cabin was well stocked with everything we could have needed. We loved Mt. Vernon and the Big Lake area. The hosts were great, and check-in was very easy. Can’t wait to come back!”

“The property had everything we could need and more. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Very close to town.”

“This is our fifth stay at the cabin, which I think speaks for itself. We love this property. Hot tub is welcoming, kitchen is equipped for some cooking, and the towel warmers and heated floors in the bathroom are so nice this time of year. Perfect weekend watching bald eagles fly by from the hot tub, watching movies, reading while listening to the rain and venturing into the village. ”

“Every amenity was thought of, all you need to bring is your clothes.”

“My fiancé and myself got away this weekend to celebrate her birthday and celebrate life. We had just gotten really happy and positive news from a previous surgery result and want to celebrate. The house was perfect. Clean, organized. Bathrooms were a little tight but tubs were huge. Tubs probably need non-slip stickers in them because they can be slippery and cause someone to fall. The only thing that would have made the weekend perfect would have been cooperative weather. Rained a lot……

“The main bed is in the loft and the steep angle of the roof makes getting into bed an adventure as we are over 70. Cabin was ok but a few cobwebs and some dog hair on loft floor.”
