“The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The orchid garden is peaceful and sublime. The absolute best thing about the hotel is the staff. Everyone from check in, Jose and Claudia, to check out was fantastic. Housekeeping was excellent with superb attention to detail, the wait staff were patient and knowledgeable and the beach staff was accommodating and friendly. The night security guard even got cushions for us so we could stargaze in comfort! It was a wonderful visit for me and my elderly parents.……

“This was a great choice for me and my family. This property is a private, exclusive golf club which makes it very safe. There are multiple check points to pass through and security guards patrolling the area at night. You will need transportation to get to the nearest town to do some exploring, restaurants and excursions but that was ok with me. I did not want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Sosua or Cabarete. You can always get a cab if you don’t have a car. We arrived three hours before……

“This resort if very well maintained. The staff were very welcoming and courteous. The food and variety was good. I didn't get to experience any of the restaurants (they filled up quickly) but the buffet was adequate with plenty of options and the coffee shop was excellent. The toaster and the panini maker were broken. They should have backups in place. The food options by the beach was adequate. One day they had a BBQ and it was delicious. Drinks were adequate. “Short stay, but I enjoy my time there. Wont say food was the best I ever had but I didn’t starved. If you decide to come and go to dinner in one of their restaurants don’t pick the Mexican the food wasn’t good. But place was definitely enjoyable. Make sure to visit the spa has a lot of perks for 65$”

“The place was very convenient to the beach. Uber driver knew exactly where it was. Check in was a bit off, as they did not give directions how or where to check in. Only a big sign saying Welcome…We asked some people sitting in the attached restaurant, and one obviously worked at the hotel and got the manager who checked us in. But we had two great days of excisions and beach time from there… Be careful and negotiate the prices at the beach for drinks and the beach chairs , umbrellas. Btw…there……

“We booked for just one night. First problem when we got to the room the bathroom toilet had urine and was not flushed. So that tells me they didn’t clean the room. The water was so weak that it was like a mist to take a shower. Not worth the $116 the night. ”
