“The stay here was great. The location right by Mississippi ave is so convenient to many fun activities and the house itself was well appointed and clean. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. Would stay again. ”

“It had all the basic amenities I could need for an overnight stay with my children (ages 3-7). It’s nice to get a little studio with a refrigerator and a stove. It was comfortable and spacious for a small area. ”

“This house is the best girls weekend spot! We return on a quarterly basis to this house to rest and spend time together. Such a beautiful property ”

“My 83 year old mom is visiting. This is a perfect place. The vibe is cozy, safe, and super chill. The vaulted ceilings and skylights added to the "retreat" feel my mom kept commenting on. The bathroom is accessible with zero thresholds and plenty of support bars for my mom to feel secure. The listing is accurate, however, I think underrepresents what a wonderfully, sweet place this is. Better than expected in all the ways. Thank you, Diane, we will definitely be staying here again. ”

“Suzanne made everything wonderful. We have never had a host take care of us like she did! The cottage was supplied with everything we needed and more, but if we had needed anything she would be right there. She has poured so much love and beauty into her place, comfortable in every way. We especially loved the stained glass. She has many repeat visitors, and we understand why.”

“Enjoyed our first stay at the Old Barn and knew it would be perfect for a quiet romantic getaway. It didn’t disappoint! Soaking in the hot tub in a cool gentle rain then warming up in the luxurious shower and cuddling up in the huge comfortable bed were exactly what we needed. And I loved the chance to serenade my husband on the baby grand! We’re already looking forward to our next stay! ”

“It was a great retreat for hardworking women who needed a beautiful setting, all sorts of pampering and a chance to unwind in God's beautiful surroundings! We came prepared to make a fire, but were so well taken care of, we just left the wood behind for the next inhabitants. I hope they enjoyed it! A few things we thought could make the stay even better: Scrubber pads for scrubbing the pans (sponges just don't cut it - though they were new and fresh!), Aluminum foil (for keeping baking clean),……

“We so enjoyed the cottage and the host! It is beautiful, spacious and peaceful, located close to restaurants and shops. We liked all that the cottage had to offer to make the stay comfortable, welcoming and convenient. So well equipped, if we hadn’t been visiting family, we might not have left!”

“We stayed here for the Christmas holidays to visit our son and his new little family for the holidays. The cottage is surprisingly spacious, tastefully decorated, and well appointed. We absolutely loved it. Quiet neighborhood. Close to grocery stores and other amenities. Hosts were great. We would definitely stay here again when we travel back to Vancouver for a visit.”

“Thus small cottage was the perfect size for the two of us, with serviceable amenities including coffee, soaps and lotion, clean towels and linens, and wi-fi. The age of the property was apparent in the wavy floors and drafty windows, but provided heaters kept us toasty, and the cozy charm was enhanced by the periodic rumble of the passing trains nearby. Overall, a convenient and cozy stay!”
