I love the history of the building and how well it is kept. Very clean and professional environment located downtown..We highly recommend this place.Also love the fact it still looks historic on the outside and the inside is historic and contemporary. truly historic hotel! love it!

It's Mississippi.
Water took for ever to get hot. Shower was a phone booth. Hallways echoed from others outside the room. Toilet was not anchored properly (Eeeep!). No back-up roll in the room. Bring bottled water.

We spent one night in Greenville and this hotel was perfect. The sweet lady who manages the property was very kind and helpful. She even met us at the door and assisted with our bags. The only draw back for us was the stairs(no elevator). If it weren’t for my asthma I wouldn’t have minded the stairs.

Our room was beautiful and our host was very kind, letting us arrive after 3 am, and helped carry our bags up the stairs. The bed was comfy. We slept well.

Fabulous room if you are into the off beat. Historic vibe with some modern amenities. The hostess was charming and showed iconic southern hospitality. I was a little put off parking on the street right in front of the hotel, but that was hot it was done 100 years ago and I have to say it was cool waling down from a second floor historic building to find my parked car waiting for me right at the hotel front door. A great place if you are doing anything in downtown Greenville. My only issue was that some lights in the bathroom and the one in the shower was burned out. A very minor inconvenience.
