“The property is basically a garden shed with basic amenities. There were stains on the floor and walls, only one knife one spoke one fork and one teaspoon and the cups, plates hadn’t been washed and were sticky, plus there were no bowls just plates! On the first night I complained about the smell in the flat which didn’t really get sorted and the next morning we had our first showers in the room. This was a huge problem as it only had hot water for 20 seconds; we were just so disappointed. After……

“Very large property, lots of space in kitchen/diner and two living rooms, plus utility room. Family party of seven seniors, felt very at home here. Kitchen had just about everything, you just had to find where things were. Four bedrooms, three doubles and one twin bedded. Onsuite bathroom with the master bedroom. Fairly large secluded garden, with several outdoor seating areas. Quiet area, easy parking for 3 – 4 vehicles. Very quick responses from excellent, obliging host. Only improvement……

“We would generally stay in hotels / Prem inn etc - but decided to try something different. The location was very convenient. The property was delightful - well appointed - very charming It was spotless. An added touch was access to Netflix and Amazon. Nice pub in the village too Would stay again if work commitments take us to this part of the world again. Would highly recommend this property. ”

“Lily pad could be wonderful. Its setting is beautiful. I was really looking forward to staying. However the lodge is damp and the heating is wholly inadequate, the macerator in the shower room had leaked under the laminate floor and was still leaking on my arrival.The property was a health hazard. It stank and the noise of the macerator and vent was horribly noisy. Paymán expected me to stay let a handyman try and fixit.he was due to get to me in an hour. I had arrived at 5:40 at 6:50they……

“The house was exactly as the photos show - well equipped, clean and comfortable with a view over the marina and the river. We had to call our hosts with a power issue on our first night and they couldn't have been more helpful. We weren't there on holiday so didn't get chance to explore the town or area properly but hope to do so on future visits.”

“Quiet and very comfortable. Although I didn’t use it the local pub has a good reputation and there is a local Nisa. The continental breakfast provision was excellent. Limited cooking capability but fine if you are ok with microwavable meals.”
