“5 stars across the board! Everything from the communication with Annie to the amenities at the property and the close proximity to town and all the White Mountains have to offer made this a wonderful time away from home! Would return in a heartbeat.”

“This place lives up to its name, a riders retreat for sure!! Perfect for my family of four to spend the weekend riding our atv! We loved that we could ride straight from the house to the rails it was perfect! ”

“It’s a nice place, good location. I had to call the property management to get the check in information which isn’t what I expected. The property was clean and warm. TV and Wi-Fi were not functioning, which wasn’t a huge problem but also not anticipated.”

“Hi/Bonjour, we spent a wonderful 4 nights (July 29-Aug 1) at the "ski patrol" cottage (Applebrook). The owner Wally provided lots of useful info throughout our stay and also provides a comprehensive information binder. It was perfect for us (2 adults and a dog). The place is central and well located if you want to explore the Whites. It was very clean, fully equipped and we enjoyed the pet-friendly vibe and little attentions. Great spot and will certainly go back.”

“Our group was able to enjoy each other's company due to us being able to cook using the functional kitchen and sit by the fireplace. It was cozy, yet spacious enough that everyone had some room to themselves.”

“Knotty Pine Cottage is the perfect escape from the city. The house is wonderful & the hosts have all the amenities you need for your stay. The views from the deck and 2nd floor of the home are spectacular. You can spend time on the pond kayaking, canoeing or dangling your feet in the water while sitting on the sturdy dock. You can also take advantage of the pretty landscape by sitting at the picnic table or at the adorable seating area with firepit the hosts have created. The appeal of the house……

“The rental is so clean, comfortable and convenient. The owners responded to our questions quickly. We were close to several stores, restaurants and the ATV trails. We will be back for sure and highly recommended this rental. ”

“My husband and I stayed for our wedding anniversary. It’s convenient location and only 10 minutes from downtown Gorham, however it’s secluded and extremely private. The fire pit along with the sound of the river was the perfect mixture. It’s exactly what we needed as a little getaway!”

“We stayed two nights and had a great experience ”

“The property owners were terrible with communication. We tried to call before leaving but website said calls not allowed and we assumed that owners would b there or some instructions as it clearly said that there was contactless check in available! We had so much food and 6 kids who were traumatized as it’s in the woody area and said bears and moose area! My older son got sick as we drove for so long to get to this place! Got hotel last minute which was an hour away… Terrible terrible experience……

“This cozy cabin was perfect! It was super easy to find and the location allows for a central location to base several activities nearby, such as the Flume, the Cog railway, Mt. Washington, the Mt.Washington Hotel, as well as Lake Winnepasauki. And the Pizza across the street was a bonus! The accommodations were spotless, well equipped for visitors, comfortable, OK and inviting. ”
