“The cabin is a cozy, comfortable place to stay. The decor was warm and inviting to give it the feel of home away from home. It was peaceful sitting on the porch and rocking while hearing the river down below at Elk Shoals park. It's a short drive to West Jefferson and Jefferson where there is plenty to do. Lots of places to shop including the Asheville County Cheese factory, quaint stores and antique shops. Great places to eat including our favorites Hillbilly Grill and Smoky Mountain……

“This cabin was top knotch! So accommodating and even very understanding when I made an error with my reservation. We barely saw any neighbors and those we did see were very friendly. I would highly recommend staying here to any nature lover who wants a clean place with all the amenities!”

“My family and I stayed for 5 nights for our first trip to the blue ridge mountains and we had a wonderful time. We visited a few hiking spots as well as Boone and Blowing Rock and it was easily accessible while also feeling like you were peacefully remote. The creek was a great addition, everyone enjoyed playing in it and listening to it while sitting on the deck. There was plenty of room. Clean and cozy.”

“We enjoyed sitting on the front porch of this lazy little country town. We did not realize it had more than one unit until after we finalized the reservation but luckily only one other unit had occupants, the last night. We walked to Damascus Old Mill for dinner (yummy-table over the river) and Blue Blazes bike rental is directly across the street if you are riding the Creeper Trail. We would go back again. ”

The owners take great pride in their home & have gone above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The home was very clean & well taken care of. We really appreciated the small touches that were supplied by the owners like ample paper products, trash bags, s’more fixings & even shampoo & soap in the event you forgot to bring some with you!😀”

“Just a quick little trip to mountains but a perfect cabin for us. The host, Katrina, could not game more helpful and very responsive. We loved sitting on both front & back porches enjoying the sound of the stream right outside. Gotta say the deer loved the area too, walking through yard and not timid at all. This will definitely be a repeat destination.”

“We needed a place to stay that was close to Sky Retreat, where our daughter was getting married. Spring Lodge fit the bill perfectly! Richard gave us great directions, so that we were at Sky Retreat in 8 minutes. The house was warm and cozy, with a fantastic kitchen! The driveway is a bit tricky to get in and out of, wish it were more flat. And it would have been nice to have use of the garage, as weather was very rainy when we arrived. But overall a very nice property with lovely owners.……
