“This cabin is adorable and had all the amenities of home. It was very clean and the property itself was beautiful. It was very quiet, and was perfect for a small family. We opted to sleep on the pullout couch as the loft beds required climbing a steep ladder. This wouldn't be practical trying to get to bathroom at night. Please know the cabin is located next to another home, but we never saw anyone at that home while we were there. It is a very remote location if you want seclusion.”

“We booked this location for a 70th birthday celebration. It was perfect for our needs- well appointed and spacious enough for 3 adult couples and a teen. We prepared two meals at the cottage and found the kitchen to be stocked with all the appliances, dishes and utensils we needed. The view of the lake was beautiful. It was especially hot the weekend we visited- all three generations were grateful for the exceptional air conditioning unit. We will definitely consider booking this property again……

“This little cabin is tucked into a hillside and is very cute. It was extremely clean and had all the amenities of home, down to the salt and pepper. This was a test run mostly for our dog and worked out well. We did not use the hot tub, so I cannot comment on that, but I'm sure it would have been amazing. It is in a residential area very near Lake Egypt and the road was busy at times, but all the people in the area seemed very friendly and waved as they drove by. So fun! The cabin is close……

“I really love how peaceful the house and the area are. Very beautiful views of Lake Egypt. I love also how close it is to a bigger city like Marion so you can go shopping at Walmart or even go to Carbondale for shopping. I also love how it’s close to a lot of different/beautiful trails. “Lovely place!! Beautiful views. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the online listing accuracy was because it didn’t SAY the stairs was the only way to the kitchen besides going outside. I had a 12 yr old dog that can’t do stairs very well. We managed just fine. I am actually online right now to book again! ”
