“Stepping into this cabin, you can tell the host has thoughtfully and carefully worked through each detail to capture the history and beauty of the area. The cabin was so peaceful, with sounds of rain and the river nearby, beautiful lookout windows, and the comfiest bed. Woodstove kept us toasty warm (after a couple of failed attempts to start a fire), and the bathroom located just outside the cabin was the perfect refreshment needed.Kitchen is stocked with everything needed! “We were looking for a few days in the mountains. Hoping to see stars, be surrounded by woods, and lulled into relaxation with a rushing river. This cabin checked those boxes. It is tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Even with neighbors close by, it felt like we were in the woods by ourselves. The cabin had that old-cabin smell to it, but that aired out quickly. The house was stocked with all the kitchen supplies we needed. the layout was conducive to us hanging together. Would love to……

“Our stay was nice and peaceful. We had trouble with the hot tub( since it wasn’t full and had trouble heating with water). The hosts were super responsive and helpful. The gas barbecue didn’t have gas, so had to replace that too. Would recommend changing the nonstick pans provided.in the kitchen.”

“A group of 7 friends and I stayed at this cabin during our university's spring break to get some fun skiing in at Hood. The cabin itself is very clean and cozy but unique in its log cabin design and layout. It was definitely a little tight with 8 people, but if your all good friends, it's not a problem. “I liked the cabin charm of this house it it’s right in the middle of government camp. You can drive right up to the door to drop off/pick up which is very convenient. It was also easy to keep warm and the wood stove was a nice amenity. We enjoyed the charm of this place. The cabin is very small which is cozy, but hard to imagine more than 4 people using the living area—even that was a tight squeeze — so unclear how the occupancy of 6 makes sense. There was a key to a “wood box” that we were not……
