“Room itself was a bit dated but breakfast was really nice and made to order with a view of Poole harbour. Location is 9 minutes walk from the beach but you can’t really see it unless you’re in the dining room or specific rooms I believe ”

“Beautiful hotel/pub with a great location near the beach. The room was comfortable with all amenities and some lovely personal touches (the toiletries were excellent and the homemade chocolate treats were, well, a treat!) The food in the pub was also great. Will stay again!”

“The competency and friendliness of the staff is exceptional from initial welcome, to cleaners, we had a lovely stay at the Antelope in fact this was our second visit, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again or reccomend. it's ideally placed or shops, quayside Nd transport links. Loads of top notch restaurants and pubs too makes it a great weekend away. ”

“The hotel is ‘of its day’ in style and furniture but the warm welcome and helpfulness of staff made up for the slightly tired decor. Friendly Resturant staff and excellent tasty breakfast. All in all, with good transport links, near to beach and decent facilities it’s a great place to stay. ”

“Really liked the hotel and location. Will be going back later in the year. Only criticism was the pool not being open in the morning. Otherwise great hotel with lovely staff! Shame the town is becoming rundown, the low lighting in the shopping area at night made us want to get back to the hotel asap. ”

“We travelled from London to make the most of the sunshine. This was a return visit, as we have stayed before and love its location, 1min walk to pier and beach. On arrival, greeted by a lovely young lady on reception. I cheekily asked if there was a sea view room available, as we booked a standard room, without hesitation she upgraded us to a lovely room with views over the pier and beach, large king size bed and a dressing and seating area. “Lovely and helpful staff. Excellent food. Not sure the room upgrade was worth the money. Although bigger than other rooms the bathroom and fittings are pretty standard. Lovely hotel with a nice garden and lounge areas. Would book again. ”
