「Blackwood is a beautiful place, easy 15 minutes drive to St Anne’s winery, Daylesford and Trentham falls. The newly renovated Blackwood hotel has excellent service and the Greendale hotel is the best kept secret, with a broad menu selection and an outdoor area that is massive. The Blackwood home we stayed at easily accommodated the 8 of us and the owners were quite generous with what they offer in the home. 」

Not too far by car to the shops and train station. The train was a convenient way to get into the city without dealing with the hassle of traffic and parking. Arriving later in the evening after an international flight, it was a bit disappointing that there were no tea/coffee sachets, sugar or UHT milk pottles made available as it was too...
