“It is a beautiful property, with friendly, chatty and interested staff.
When we stayed there was lovely Christmas family
experiences, lots of family groups, disco and games in the evening, Santa visited all very exciting.
In the midst of this were several adult guests who seemed to be forgotten. Although there was an adults only bar.,....right beside the children's party.
I adore children but had hoped to have a relaxing and calm pre Christmas break which didn't happen.

One thing i will mention is that tv switched itself on a few times while in the room and would be on when coming back to hotel room after being out, upon asking staff if the keycard operated the tv, their reply was no, so this was interesting

“We have used this hotel a few times and always been very pleased with it. However this time, the room we were allocated was far too close to reception and main area. (I did request quiet room away from traffic but didn’t anticipate being disturbed by other noises). “Lovely night staying over at Friars Wynd a beautiful little find entering through the bar entrance to our boutique room upstairs “Katrine” was very comfortable and the shower was amazing! The small sink was pretty powerful and we accidentally forested the tap over the sink bowl. Staff on check in gave the warmest welcome detailing everything we needed to know. 100% recommend this lovely place slap bang in the middle of Stirling.
