“We showed up to Manresa after a long trip from the San Juan islands, and were greeted with an amazingly friendly front desk lady. She was enthusiastic about the ghost stories and was more than willing to answer any questions about the history of the building we may have had. I loved that we were welcome to just wander the building as we wished...there were old pictures all over the place to explore. The restaraunt was mexican food, but so good! Great, fresh ingredients, and decently priced……

“Our first night stay, went well, check in was easy, easy parking and check out. I wish more coffee pod flavors. Tried taking my puppy for a walk in the morning but a lot of people out and about some homeless. But just be mindful. Drove to get breakfast. Found a place close by for dinner. Our view from our room was nice view of the water, our room was cozy with the heater and our bed so comfortable. Wish the room was a bit bigger for the price. But for a night was good. ”

“The room had just been refurbished so there was a strong odor of new carpeting, adhesive, paint etc. Running the fan helped but the first night was a bit unpleasant. I appreciated handicap adaptations. However, the placement of the microwave oven at such a high level above the beverage station I think in inconvenient ( hard to read control panel, hard to reach into interior) and poses a liability matter. A guest with an issue such as an essential tremor or arthritis in the hands and shoulders……

“We stayed here with my 5-year-old, and he had an absolute blast! The train wagon was super fun and the room was cozy and well-designed. The only downside was that I felt really cold at night—I didn’t notice the heater until the next morning, just before check-out. Still, it was a unique and memorable experience, and definitely worth trying!”
