“Okay, lots of poor reviews, so perhaps I'm being a little too generous, but this place wasn't terrible. Certainly dated, but I think that's what to expect at that price point. My room was clean, heater worked, television, WiFi, bathroom was full of necessaties. Lady at front office was very pleasant. Its a motel, not a resort.”

“If you're looking for the perfect glamping experience while visiting Powell River, this is where you need to be! The trailer is adorable, clean, and so welcoming; the half-wrap covered deck is so open and spacious, with lots of comfortable seating and a wonderful little swinging chair, and has the best view of the chicken coop (very lovely, polite ladies!) - we even got a visit from the ducks! Between the trees and bushes, and the lovely wooden fence, there was lots of privacy so it didn't feel……

“First commercial property in Powell River. Built 1911 a lot of fun because of the history it represents. Its a heritage building and is old but for us and are dog the one night was great. Great Greek food just 5 min walk with a local brewery even closer. ”

“Truly enjoyed three lovely nights and days at the Beach House on Texada Island. Location is amazing with views west of Vancouver Island. Gillie's beach below the house. Beach House is well equipped with comfy beds and linen, small comfy sitting area and dinning area and a gorgeous deck. Lots of exploring to do around the island. We ventured on to Anderson Bay road - which was an adventure - used all of the SUV 4X4 features. Highly recommend this place.”

“Very clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable. Well kitted out with appliances, cultlery and everything you might need. Parking on site for one vehicle, so if you are comfortable parking 2nd vehicle on the street, then it works well. Also not amenable to electric vehicles as there was no exterior outlet for charging an all electric. We loved the wood stove, which was very cozy and warm. I also particularly loved the character of the home with old fir floors. Very close to Shelter……

Quiet and private and perfect temperature in the house even when it was hot out. Check out the talented artists‘ creations of glass, wood, visual arts, and products from their abundant gardens.”
