“Very peaceful place with great sun sets & night skies; outdoor space is fantastic, even in the winter but indoors is a bit tight for 12 people & 3 dogs (2 bedrooms are tiny; 1 bedroom is next to oil tank w/o windows so not ideal hangouts; dining table is small requiring eating in shifts; plus hot water runs out after 1-2 showers and iron sediments may appear in the water!). If you don’t mind these nuisances (we didn’t) it’s an amazing place to spend time together … can highly recommend it! ”

“We stay. In Alton Bay each year for a couple of concerts at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion. The motel is in a pine grove and is lake front. It's "!old school " feel reminds of my childhood. It's clean and quite, but no thrills. “We did a 2 night getaway with our 3 teenagers and had a wonderful time! Sharon stayed in touch throughout the process. When we arrived everything was spotless. There were so many welcoming touches, including treats for our dog, fresh floral arrangements and yummy brownies!A beautiful well appointed kitchen that was a pleasure to cook in. So many rentals have dull knives and worn out pans etc.The location was great for walking to shops and the lake, however if you’re looking for total quiet this……
