Hidden beach gem
We absolutely loved this little home. It had breathtaking views that made you feel far from everything even though you're just in a typical suburb. The house is old and it's obvious, but that adds to the rustic charm. You can tell the owner loves it. There are kayaks and firewood in the garage and some basic kitchen essentials. Will definitely book next time if available.

The Perfect Vibe!
My husband and I stayed here for a week for our anniversary and it was beyond what we could have imagined! If you want a image of what the house was like, just picture your grandma’s house in the woods! The house could use updated decor; but the vibe matched the Gig Harbor atmosphere very well! There was plenty to do, from kayaking to picking fresh oysters and even otter watching and deer walking right up to the deck! The town of Gig Harbor also offered modern conveniences such as Target and McDonalds, while also having plenty of local spots. We would 100% recommend this house to any couples looking for a secluded getaway! Thank you for the memories!

Lovely home and amazing location
Spent the weekend here on a girls' trip and we all loved it! The home is not large but is set up well for a group. Two good-sized bedrooms downstairs with large, comfy beds and one up, with a large bed and two twins. The bathroom has the nicest rain shower and there's an outdoor shower too. The kitchen has everything you need. Kyaks are included - we paddled out to Cutts Island and ended up surrounded by about a hundred seals! This is such a lovely location and the way the hosts have kept all the big trees intact makes it lush and green, and protects it from the afternoon sun. There's also an AC unit, which I don't think is mentioned in the listing, but it's very nice. If you want to kayak - bring shoes with good traction! The tide gets very low and the beach has a lot of sharp oyster shells and also very thick sand which will pull your shoes right off :) All in all, a great stay, thank you!

Perfect spot for a low key girls trip.

We really didn't spend anytime there except sleeping. Great yard & looks like fun spot. Although I found evolve difficult to work with. I was finally able to get thru and book the home.

Prachtig rustige omgeving. Alleen zou de eigenaar iets moeten doen aan inrichting en servies. Heb voor de eigenaar glaswerk gekocht!!! Bij contact met de eigenaar omtrent snelheid van internet, geen medewerking. Koste teveel!!!

Lay Inlet Beach-Home
This property is private and well maintained. Being a native of Gig Harbor, the home brought back many childhood memories. From the wood stove to handwashing dishes and kitsch decorations mixed with a beautifully landscaped yard with direct beach access. This is a true cabin to slow down and escape to while getting back in touch with friends and family. No distractions, great neighbors and property.

Beautiful views and great location with amazing access for beachcombing and kayaking. Cabin is a bit rustic but very comfortable with good beds - a little chilly in the winter but has a very effective wood stove with wood provided. Bring your scouting skills to split kindling and light a fire.

Classic northwest, as charming as pictured
Stayed here for a few nights with my sister and mother. The cabin was as cute as pictured and as a bonus surprisingly private. Great water views, big comfy rooms, very well stocked kitchen. Everything worked and it was very clean. The decor is super eclectic rustic and cozy. Extra throw blankets are supplied. My only asks would be to supply a way to light the fire (we scoured, maybe maybe someone swiped the lighter) and a way to open the 1st floor windows safely overnight (like a shorter bar) for those of who get warm.

Amazing location!
The location was amazing...right on the water, very private and tons of outdoor space. One warning...I am still fighting with Evolve (the property management company) as they overcharged me by $72 and won't acknowledge the error nor repay me. I will never rent an Evolve property again.

Great Getaway!
We were SO pleased with our stay on the bay. This was the perfect little quaint cabin for our family and extended family. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed looking for sand dollars, oysters and seashells. The kayaks and life jackets were an added bonus and we even saw some seals while out in the kayaks. Sitting by the fire at sunset was just perfect. Definitely not something we get to experience in Kansas! Kitchen was well equipped and shower was wonderful! We’re already making plans to come back for a longer stay!

Great Stay!
I loved the property! My love and I got engaged on the private beach just before a sunset kayaking excursion with the kids. We loved the oysters and clams, and the cabin was exactly perfect in every way. The owner was friendly when we talked on the phone, and the instructions were very clear and easy to understand in the book on the counter. We love this place, and hope to return for another visit soon! This is the perfect place for our family to unwind, start the day seeing the sound through the trees and huge windows, have privacy, and relax to a deep soul level.

Everything in there felt old and dirty. The carper was damp and musty, the kitchen felt so old didn’t want to use anything! Could be so cute if updated but just overall gross and old! Left 4 days early!!!!!

A miserable week at the beach
When we arrived there was a huge hole cut into the deck just to the right of the sliding door. When I talked with the owner he said he was having some plumbing problems and part of the deck had to be cut away to get to the problem. The problem was never fix during our five night stay at this property. The shower was draining slow, the toilet didn't flush correctly, the septic tank is overflowing and the yard leading down to the beach is a mud pit. the owner first said this was from a leaking water line but after seeing effluent coming out of the top of the septic tank, the cause was obvious. We tried working with the owner on this and my girlfriend even took time off of work to meet his plumbers at the property. When the plumber were not able to fix the problem the owner suggested we use the outdoor shower. It's October in the PNW, this is not a rational solution to the problem. My last text to the owner described the problems with this property in detail and I asked for a partial refund for all of the troubles. He never responded.

Perfect Family Getaway

Amazing
My family and I wanted to have a special getaway as I would be starting chemo soon (stage 4 Ovarian Cancer). This was the perfect place. We kayaked, picked oysters off the beach, had s’mores by the fire pit and enjoyed the beautiful wildlife (we saw deers and also seals). The view is amazing. Definitely a time to remember forever.
