The classic room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Perfect for a relaxing break once you have negotiated the 1.5 mile single track road to the hotel!”

“Some staff were lovely. Some had to be hunted for such as to serve us breakfast on the Saturday. The shower was dangerous, wirhout moving control from medium it went from scading hot to freezing. The room was shabby outside lighting hit and miss. The beds were comfy and there were good quality coffe bags and biscuits.”

“Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed.
Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night.
The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions.
We will definitely return. ”

“The hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff are fabulous and Nicole at breakfast was so lovely. The food was really good and would recommend the Argento rose as a perfect end to the day. The bar staff would look after an open bottle for us in the fridge. The rooms were so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect and clean.
I am definitely coming back on my next visit to Dartmoor. Thank you to all the staff for creating a welcoming hotel.”
