First the good. Checking in was quick and staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was what I expected for an under $100 a night stay. A bed, tv, fridge, shower & toilet. The location makes walking downtown easy.
The bad. It’s dated. You can tell they have tried to do some diy upgrades but that doesn’t help. Edges of desk, chair, nightstand, corners all chipped. Walls could use a good whip down and fresh coat of paint. Shower had pink slime mildew growing in the grout. We easily wiped it away with a washcloth. The walls had various colored splattered spots about knee high and lower.
In the evening the parking lot is a stop for a ghost tour stop. Pretty entertaining to watch and listen to the tours.
In all like I said at first the room was exactly what I expected. The staff is great and attentive. Just don’t expect luxury on a budget here.
