We liked the older type of feel to the room, and it was very cozy and the bed was pretty comfortable compared to other hotels we stayed in :)

Basic clean motel room. Interaction with the receptionist was good, friendly and accommodating. For the money, a good deal. I would stay here again when in Gettysburg.

We expected basic amenities when we booked, so were not surprised. It's an older motel in the area and I have stayed at a variety of hotels in Gettysburg previously. It was economical for the price, but would probably bring extra towels or ask for extra towels if we stayed here again. Did not see cleaning staff during our stay but also did not have any problems either.

No coffee or ice available. He said I could go to the gas station next to us and they would give us that. Nice outside seating area. Typical motel.. sleep and go. One night was ok for the cost.

Checking into the room, no towels, hand towels or wash cloths. Room was never maintained for the 3 days we were there. Never made the bed or empty the trash. Breakfast and coffee never available. Office stayed locked till 8 am. Overall state of the room not satisfactory. Motel needs to be renovated.

My wife & enjoy the Colton Motel because of its nostalgic charm. It's like stepping back into the 1960s. Very clean, very comfortable, very accommodating. It's where we stay every time we're in Gettysburg, great place.

This is for the budget minded who, for price and convenience to the Battlefield, are willing to overlook certain things. First, it is clean, the area safe, parking fine, basic in a nutshell. You'll find no spa, no elegant breakfast, fine (and matching) furniture. But you'll get a decent night's sleep at an almost giveaway price. Old school, or, just old. But we've stayed before, we'll certainly stay again. However, if you're looking for modern amenities, perhaps somewhere else might be a better choice. That leaves room for us!

The staff was helpful and friendly, but they could use some more House keeping. Multiple things were dirty and need wiped down. The room was a great size and so was the bathroom. The tub is definitely on the smaller side. Parking was great, we were able to park right in front of our room.
