If you want a quiet night's sleep, book the poolside rooms. Although we liked the views, we didn't like all the loud motorcycles on the main road until well into the night. The rooms were clean, the staff extremely friendly and welcoming, the full breakfast was delicious, and convenient to walk or drive to shops, museums, restaurants, etc. We plan on staying here again (but poolside) and recommended it to friends. 5 stars

We enjoyed the balconies that overlooked the main street. I appreciated the outdoor smoking areas. The staff were all courteous and friendly. Loved the oversized room and bathroom. Unfortunately, the breakfast could have been a little better. The sausages were overcooked and the mini muffins tasted like they had been out a few days longer than they should have or thawed out of freezer burn. The bananas were pretty bruised up as well. The other food choices were fine, though.

We had a pleasant stay. This is an older hotel but they do a great job keeping it clean and maintained. Breakfast was a hotel breakfast but very nicely done. The price was very reasonable and you can walk to shops and restaurants.

A fabulous breakfast and the staff was great! So many hotels have "nothing" breakfasts, this place had a great amount of choices and all good. Great location!!

Generally this was a nice hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful where needed, and the breakfast was generous to American standards. If booking to stay here, be aware that the rooms have windows pointing to the outside so if busy there is no privacy with any lights on, there are net curtains but you’d need to keep the curtains closed. The doors also open to the outside like a motel, which was not an issue but be aware of this fact. We had 2 rooms, one had a good seal so was fine but the the other had a poor seal so had a nasty draft as it was cold. We had to wedge a chair against the door to create a seal to stop the draught and whistling noise. Otherwise a good hotel and a good location for exploring the Gettysburg battlefields.

Very clean. The included morning breakfast was great, with so many choices of food items. This was not your typical Continental Breakfast. If you can't find something to eat for breakfast here, you're not looking! The staff was helpful and kind. The next time we visit Gettysburg, we'll definitely be staying here.

The location is great to be able to walk around Gettysburg and see the historical sites. The floors are hard, so you can hear everything about you. There's someone rolling something loud back and forth on the floor constantly and walking back and forth. Also, they have a dog that whines loudly, i assume whenever the person isnt in the room with them. So it is very noisy and not quiet.
