“We enjoyed the exceptional customer service at the Forte de Gaia. All the staff were amazing! We had booked a second-class room without a bathtub or historic view, and on our arrival we found this room overlooked the decommissioned swimming pool area that was being renovated by busy builders. Someone had left a fruit basket in the room, but we were unsure if this was an 'extra' so we decided not to touch it. The hotel is close to riverboat cruise liners but quite a long way from most……

“The hotel is located at a VERY nice point to overview the bridge Luis. It´s beautiful to have the sunrise and sunset sightseeing from the hotel. Our room was in the 12th floor, the bridge is at the 14th floor level of the hotel, the room wtih river side view is preferred! The breakfast is with plenty selection of food, the cheese board, the bread and the fruit varieties are not extremely large, but already good enough to a satisfactory breakfast. The metro is at the corner of the hotel, it’s……

“房間空間超大，有完整的廚房與廚具(鍋碗瓢盆....)應有盡有，以及有絕美河景與Ponte Dom Luís大橋。在房間即可看波多的日出。 但沒有陽台，只有窗邊臥榻區。 飯店早餐採buffet式，可與服務人員點各類蛋料理(如炒蛋,煎蛋,歐姆蛋...等)及飲料。 游泳池spa池雖然不大但很漂亮，需要預約(每個時段人數不多)。感謝工作人員貼心提醒，可一次預留1時段以上。 飯店頂樓有露天bar，有提供酒與簡單的餐點(湯,牛排,三明治,沙拉..等)，滿好吃得且價格不會太貴。”

“This is our second time staying at Exmo, confirming that it’s just a perfect all-around option — everything you need and nothing you don’t, at such a reasonable price. The hotel is charming and stylish with beautiful architectural and interior design elements, and it feels a little bit special without being over the top or losing that friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are super quiet, and (twice confirmed now) they have the MOST comfortable beds in the whole world – and we’ve sampled many!……

“It was my 1st time in Portogallo, I chose Porto, specifically the Douro River, because it seemed low key & like a cool place.... it was! The only 2 negatives were the pillows, they were down & there were no others in the room. I didn't see a note in the room saying they were available upon request, that it made sleep difficult. I caught an intestinal virus after my 1st meal, having nothing to do with the hotel of course. The food at the restaurants, i only had 2 meals, was tasty but portions……
