There's a building under construction beside the property. At night, you can hear them banging away. The doors aren't keeping the noise from the corridor out. Our room had this issue with the aircon ticking loudly, which I complained about but have been dismissed by the management as "normal operational characteristic". Haven't had much good sleep during our stay.
Getting to and from attractions at Genting Highlands can be inconvenient because the bus shuttle goes only once per hour. There are a few restaurants to choose from which is unsatisfactory. The options are decent enough but the price is quite steep for what you get, which is understandable given that the area can be logistically challenging.
There's no room service, nothing in the in-room fridge, there's not even a telephone as all communication with the property is done through Whatsapp which isn't as bad as it seems, given that there isn't room service anyway and they are responsive.
If you are looking to work remotely, the internet holds up but it's definitely below 20 Mbps.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it if you want convenience, being able to explore the main areas of Genting Highlands, or like getting a good night's sleep. The property is more of a serviced condo rather than a hotel.
